Teacher, Temporary Full Time Community School

School Psychologist -SELPA AU

REQUIREMENTS: Under the direction of the Calaveras County SELPA Director, provides a range of services to students (birth to 22), families, educators, and community agencies.  The services are based upon the needs of the schools, classes, families, and ages of the students, as well as the time limitations imposed by case loads, time lines, travel time, amd emergency situations.

Behavioral Health Clinician-SELPA AU

LOCATION: Calaveras County Office of Education
FTE: 1.0 FTE -190 days per year.
CREDENTIAL:

  • Master's Degree in job-related area.
  • Licensed or license eligible in the state of California as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP).
  • Minimum of 5 years job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility required...OR...any combination of training, experience and/or education equivalent to a Master's degree in psychology, mental health counseling, or social work.

SALARY: Range 8b of the Management/Confidential Salary Schedule $61,196-$77,665 (Dependent upon experience), (plus $1000 for Master's Degree).

REQUIREMENTS: Under the direction of the SELPA Director/Program Manager, the Behavioral Health Clinician will provide supportive and direct services to students with problem behaviors that interfere with academic performance and developmental progress, cause conflict with peers, community or family, and/or put the student at risk for placement in a more restrictive educational setting, higher levels of mental health care and/or out of home placement. The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services including; counseling, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and case management for students with special needs and their families; will provide consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals and parents; support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions conforming to the Hughes Bill and to IDEA. Mental health services may be provided at counseling centers, in student homes, at school sites and or in the community.

Child Development (Extended Day) Site Supervisor-Michelson Center

HRS: 6.0 Hrs. Per Day/248 Days, 75% Benefit Package
SALARY: $15.83 per hour (Step 1)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • CTC Child Development- Site Supervisor Permit
  • AA (or 60 units) with 24 ECE/CD (including core) plus 16 GE units

or

  • A BA degree or higher with 12 ECE units plus 3 semester units of supervised field experience in EDE setting.

or

  • A teaching or administrative credential with 12 ECE units plus 3 units supervised field experience in ECE setting, or CTC approved training.

105 hours of professional growth within the next five (5) years and each five year period after.

Child Development (Extended Day) Teacher-Mark Twain Center

HRS: 3.0 Hrs. Per Day

JOB DUTIES:        

Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the Child Development (Extended Day) Teacher will provide an organized program for the education and recreation for the children who attend.
