Excecutive Council

The Executive Council is the governing body of Special Education, consisting of ten members, the Superintendent and a board member designee from each district. It is the responsibility and authority of the exec council to:

  • ensure compliance with the special education local plan
  • ensure that all participating school districts and regional providers of special education services are providing the full range of educational services required by law and by the plan

The Executive Council dates for the 2013-2014 school year are:

  • September 9, 2013 - host, BHUHSD
  • November 18, 2013 - host, CUSD
  • January 13, 2014 - host, CCOE
  • March 10, 2014 - host, VUSD
  • May 12, 2014 - host, MTUESD
  • June 9, 2014 - host, BHUHSD
NOTE: 9:00 a.m. start time in the CCOE Main Conference Room unless otherwise notified. Closed session will be held at the end of each meeting if necessary. Council members will be notified in advance if a closed session is scheduled.
