Calaveras County Office of Education

Regional Occupational Program (ROP)

Calaveras ROP provides quality Career Technical Education to the high school students and adults of Calaveras County, with priority given to students ages 16-18. Our high schools and business leaders collaborate to ensure that course offerings meet industry needs and provide marketable skills to students. ROP instruction occurs in the formal classroom setting on the campuses of Bret Harte and Calaveras High Schools, as well as within the community through local partnerships that provide community classroom placement and on-the-job training. Students may earn credits to fulfill their high school graduation requirements while acquiring valuable job skills and industry certifications thereby improving their opportunities for job placement upon graduation.
