Form Deadlines to CCOE - 4/8/2013
Sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students from public, charter and private schools compete in the Annual Calaveras County Spelling Championship, sponsored each year by the Calaveras County Office of Education.
First, second and third place winners will receive award plaques; and all participants will receive certificates for their participation in this countywide event. The top two spellers from the seventh, eighth or ninth grades will be eligible to compete in the Statewide Junior High Spelling Championship.
Calaveras Enterprise will again sponsor Cash prizes: $25 each to the top spellers in the 6th - 9th grades. In addition, the top two spellers who are eligible to compete in the State Spelling Bee will be awarded $50 each. Thank you Calaveras Enterprise!
