Infinite Campus and Google Classroom Integration

This video will demonstrate how to connect your Google Classroom to your Infinite Campus classes. This should allow you to grade assignments in Google Classroom and have them sync with Infinite Campus.

okay I'm going to go and show you how to create a class that links to the campus you cook either on create a class or the plus sign and then create class and you see your class pop up in here in your Infinite Campus one and go ahead and type in whatever name you want to call the class whatever section you want to call it and by the way every section and Infinite Campus you will need to have its own class and here is where you're actually be able to see the Infinite Campus information you'll see a section that appears and then whatever room number you're in okay so once you do that it'll connect and you will have your own system information so you can do that for student information system if you already have a Google class existing you can go ahead and convert that you want to pick the class in classes and then go into the settings and then you'll scroll down you'll see a the details on the class and then you'll see this link top link to class and you can pick which section it goes into your grade book quick link and it will associate that with your Infinite Campus account and you'll be good to go to add students you need to add the actual school email for them the one that they have an infinite campus so you just go up here to people once you have that happening and you can add students by clipping in a plus sign and looking for each individual student if they're all in the same subgroup and you should be able to find it pretty easy once they accept it you're good to go when creating an assignment Google you have to consider a few things so he will go to the class the classwork and create an assignment okay so you're going to want to make sure that you have everything taken I hear you need a title will call this one test assignment and then I'll pull a Google Drive assignment this is good if you have a piece of reading or something fun to look at I'm going to pull out a Google form okay but you can also upload something from your computer link to another website put on a video or at a premade Google doc or something along those lines for the mess with I'm test assignment number one is we're going to sign here but we have to make sure we have a due date if you don't have a due date if I can populate properly in there fifth grade and produce here okay I put your points when I definitely have that due date you can put a time if you want to I'll have to let you can add a rubric and if it's a Google assignment I believe that will help created for you as well it looks like we got everything ready to go whatever point value assigned to be in there and was quicker sign okay so once you do that it'll populated in here and you can check to see if it's ready to link to your Infinite Campus you would want a quick sis export when you quit I'm not used to your assignments that you want and you make sure that they're checked if you don't want them don't check them now that you do that it should populate the assignment in Infinite Campus for you without the grades the same stuff you'll take once you grade the assignment you'll do a sis export now we're going to talk about creating and stinking let's go to our class took an assignment looks like Richard student turned in their assignment we want to do is we want to click on instruction a class with this assignment click on the one here do you mean let's see there you go you can enter your grades in here or as your grade in the assignment you can assign a great as well and when you're done you just come over braids you click on sis export and it'll tell you has one assignment or one grade. They there normalcy a one over here and when you're done you good and quick sis export and as you exported it will take a little time and it there doesn't like it never get away but it will send out and you'll see the greatest and updated here you can select a category for Google classroom I do so you would simply click into your settings and go to non campus to sign defaults and change your category to Google classroom or whatever category you created that you want just as Google classroom if you decide not to assign categories you'll get this button that shows you that there's one assignment that doesn't mean that they're graded but it means that they have not been categorized you can use this to Incorporated in the paper assignments and helices organization of your assignments so you just left your grading task should be term grade and then whatever category you picked for that type of assignment can you see a populate and the button disappears if you've already signed a category it'll pop up as soon as you start sinking it came from the campus you don't have to go through and pick one to update your grades you have to return the assignment to the student all of them need to be returned to the students that they have their assignments they can redo them and you can restore them at the turn is what's going to make it to the lake to the 5th so you just go to the students class work Pickett and go to your student you can click on this 3 button here and quick return if you want to do an individual student I mourn as a pop-up it's also a good way to kind of keep track of what you got going on I'm if you want to retake it I would put a message in here like retake or we try for a higher score that should take care of it for you I hope this helps you out if you have any questions please contact your local site Tech or Infinite Campus and Google Classroom administrator
