Extended Day Program

Extended Day is currently located at the following Elementary school campuses along the Highway 4 corridor:
Hazel Fischer Elementary - Arnold
Albert Michelson Elementary - Murphys
Mark Twain Elementary - Angels Camp
Our hours of operation are as follows:
School days: school release - 6:00 p.m.
Summer days: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Children enrolled in Transitional Kindergarten through sixth grade may attend the program. Children must be TK age eligible through 12 years of age in order to attend the program. Children reaching their 13th birthday or in 7th grade (first day of 7th grade) are not eligible. Only children who use the bathroom independently will be accepted into the program. Services are open to children enrolled in any type of education, including alternative programs, private schools and home-schooled students.
Extended Day is a curriculum based after-school program funded both with private pay families and subsidized slots through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). We are licensed and governed through the State of California Department of Social Services River City Community Licensing Department.
Extended Day participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). On full days we will provide breakfast, lunch and snack at no charge to you. On school days we will provide a snack. Meals are served family style and we utilize this time to teach manners, socialization and nutrition.
