What is the Foster and Homeless EAC?

The Calaveras County Office of Education (CCOE) Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (FYSCP) convenes a countywide interagency Foster Youth Executive Advisory Council (EAC) comprised of representatives from children welfare, probation, school districts, CASA, placement agencies, ILP and other community agencies. These agencies work in partnership to strengthen and enhance services to students in foster care. The EAC will provide a forum for discussing the plan to improve educational outcomes of foster youth by providing advice and input on the operations of foster youth services, program operations, and program development.
