Public Safety Power Shut Off #2 - Updated CRC List

(San Andreas, CA)—The Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services would like to share the locations of the Customer Resource Centers (CRC) hosted by Pacific Gas and Electric(PG&E). Calaveras County OES is in a level III status and is monitoring the situation closely. At this time, it is estimated that 14,235 resident will lose power by 2pm today 10/23/19. The predicted "weather all clear" is expected by noon Thursday 10/24/19 with some power being restored and total power restoration by 7pm Friday.

Drop The Drugs Day Oct. 26th

The annual Calaveras County “Drop the Drugs” event is coming up on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 10am-2pm at two locations in the county: Calaveras County Office of Education, 185 South Main Street, Angels Camp Toyon Middle School, on Highway 12 between San Andreas and Valley Springs

2nd Crisis Center Location Opens in Murphys

Calaveras Crisis Center opens a 2nd location in Murphys at 409 Church Street. Services include peer counseling, accompaniment throughout medical & legal process, restraining order assistance, professional counseling, referrals to various services in the county, and community outreach & education.
