Special Education Services

The Calaveras County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) is a consortium of Local Education Agencies (LEA) throughout Calaveras County. The Calaveras County SELPA operates and administers 5 regionalized Preschool Programs, 1 Adult Transition Program and the WorkAbility Grant Program.

The SELPA also administers regionalized services such as: Adaptive Physical Education, Assistive Technology, Behavior Intervention, Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Vision Services, Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS), Infant Development Services, Occupational Therapy, Orientation/Mobility, Program Specialist and Inclusion Support, and Physical Therapy.
