The Grandparent Project Supporting the Community The Grandparent Project has set the dates and times for this next year’s meetings. If you are a Grandparent or other relatives raising children, this project helps provide support and resources. Meetings are held in several county locations from Sept. through May. Community Support Strengthens Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program The Calaveras Mentoring Foundation (CMF) has delivered its full pledge of $65,500 to the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program for the 2018-19 fiscal year. This year’s PARTY fundraiser pushed the fundraising effort over the top by netting more than $25,000 for the Mentoring Program.

Mountain Oaks Students Receive Special Scholarships The Mountain Oaks Scholarship Awards presentation was held on May 28th, 2019 at Mountain Oaks School, located at 150 Old Oak in San Andreas. In addition to local county scholarships, students at Mountain Oaks Charter School received some special scholarships from out of the county. Hans Baschy is the recipient of the Type 7 Technical Major Air Force ROTC college scholarship.
