Superintendent's Message

It is with gratitude and deep humility that I take on the role of Calaveras County Superintendent of Schools. I am incredibly honored to serve our students, families, educators, and the entire community in this capacity. Having been entrusted with such an important responsibility, I am eager to embark on this journey with all of you.

My primary focus as your Superintendent will be to consistently pursue improved outcomes for all students across Calaveras County. Every child deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for a successful future, and I am dedicated to ensuring that our educational system provides just that. This commitment means fostering environments where students feel safe, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.

I am continually impressed by the skill, dedication, and passion of our staff here at the Calaveras County Office of Education (CCOE) and within our individual school districts. Our educators, administrators, and support staff are the heart of our system, working tirelessly every day to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. Their commitment to excellence is truly inspiring, and I am proud to work alongside them.

The Calaveras County Office of Education plays a vital supporting role for all schools and districts within our county. We are here to provide essential resources, guidance, and collaboration opportunities, ensuring that every school has what it needs to thrive. Whether it's through professional development, fiscal oversight, or student support services, we are committed to strengthening the foundation upon which our local schools build success.
