Miss Melanie comes from a family of five children and has traveled the United States as a child. Her father was in the United States Air Force and the last stop was in Novato, Ca where Melanie graduated from high school. Melanie worked in the field of physical therapy and loved that profession. She attended college in Marin County and started her general education there. She has continued her education for 20 years as she grew her family of three children putting her career on hold at times. She has worked in private practices, acute hospitals, and enjoyed making a difference in people's lives.

Miss Melanie has obtained her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education with a major in Family and Consumer Sciences from Delta College. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors Degree and hopes to continue teaching and helping children into her retirement. In recent opportunities she has expanded her training with children with special needs. She has worked in the childcare field as a preschool teacher and an after-school teacher. She loves working with the children that have come into her life and considers it a privilege to be entrusted with your precious cargo, your children.

Hi!  My name is Amanda Morgan and I began working at Building Bridges in 2021.  I am a mother of three and live in Copperopolis.  Before moving to Calaveras County I worked as an aid in Special Education for two years in San Joaquin County.  I hope to go back to school soon and further my education in Child Development.  I enjoy working in my community and the opportunities Calaveras County has to offer me.
