Steering Committee

Programmatic Advisory Committee to the Executive Council

The SELPA Steering Committee plays an important role in providing policy and programmatic input to the Executive Council. The committee is composed of the SELPA Director, SELPA Program Manager(s), CAC Chairperson or designee, and at least one (1) special education knowledgeable representative from each of the member LEA's. Additional special and general education representatives for each LEA are encouraged. The committee meets at least quarterly and the meetings are chaired by the SELPA Director.

All Steering Committee Meetings are held at the Calaveras County Office of Education in the Cheyenne Conference Room and Virtually. Agenda's, meeting minutes, and virtual meeting links can be found on BoardDocs
